Mineola is the estate-lot neighbourhood between the QEW and Lakeshore Road, from the Credit River east to Cawthra Road, split into Mineola West and Mineola East by Hurontario Street.

Mineola West is the prestige side: winding streets under a century-old tree canopy, irregular ravine lots, and custom builds that trade well into the multi-millions. Mineola East runs quieter and more family-oriented, with rectangular lots and a mix of originals and rebuilds.
The name comes from a First Nations term meaning "a pleasant village." The area filled in after the QEW opened in the 1930s and was largely built out by 1950 — which is why the trees are the tallest in South Mississauga.
